Nicholas Tangen is a coach and convener, a writer and educator, for Christians and churches curious about community development, public theology, and neighborhood ministry. He currently serves as the Director of Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices at the Minneapolis Area Synod – ELCA.
In 2018 Nicholas graduated from United Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Leadership with a focus on Social Transformation. His writing and work are rooted in a commitment to the Gospel and Christian community as the catalyst for social transformation, community development, and the common good.
Nicholas is available to write, speak, and facilitate group conversations about the Church, community engagement, neighborhood ministry, spiritual practice, and community organizing.
